Playground Closures & Renovations – East Village, Spring Park, Longmeadow Park
The East Village playground will be closed beginning today for safety reasons. Renovations to the artificial turf are needed due to tree roots inside of the playground area. Management is currently in the bid process, and the bids will be taken to the board meeting on February 22 for approval.
Renovations including the complete replacement of playground equipment and artificial turf system will begin next week at Spring Park and Longmeadow Park Playgrounds.
During this time, we advise residents to utilize the playgrounds at Lakeside Park, Spring Lake Park, and North Village Park.
