Town Hall Maintenance Update
Date: December 15, 2022

Celebration Residents,

Town Hall water remediation maintenance began on Monday, December 12, 2022.

Today, December 15, 2022, the removal of debris and cleaning is underway in containment areas at Town Hall.

On Friday, December 16, 2022, Town Hall will be closed because of additional cleaning that will need to be completed. The Town Hall back-office staff will be working off-site responding to emails and have limited ability to respond to phone calls but will do their best to respond to any urgent issues in the community. Directors, Managers, Parks and Recreation, and Maintenance departments will be on site on Friday. Maintenance and Parks and Recreation operations will not be impacted.  Directors and Managers will be working away from their desks at Heritage Hall and Lakeside Park to set up for Kids’ Night Out and the Ugly Sweater Pop-Up Trivia Event. They will also be responding to emails and phone calls as necessary.

It is likely that the Town Hall building will need to remain closed to the public to ensure the remediation work is completed appropriately. Please remember, we do have a contingency plan in place to limit the impact on services to the community and our partner programs in the event of a complete shutdown of Town Hall. The outline of those plans can be found on the Community Maintenance page on the www.celebration.fl.us website, or by clicking here. Once the determination is made, another community notice will be sent implementing the temporary relocation of staff and service locations.

The Town Hall team will work diligently to ensure there is continued communication about the work being conducted, timelines, and any changes that will impact services.

If you have any questions, please contact Executive Director, Lauren Gunnyon at townhall@ciramail.com or via phone at 407-566-1200.
