This special purpose governmental entity provides the financing and management of certain community-wide infrastructure improvements. The CCDD has the authority to levy annual taxes and/or assessments on the properties within the District’s boundaries. The CCDD is governed by a five-member Board of Supervisors elected by property owners within the District. The CCDD is responsible for the maintenance of roadway lights, street sweeping, non-residential common area landscaping, maintenance of street trees and turf, alleyways, public parks and trails, aquatic weed and mosquito control, maintenance of the lakes, stormwater retention areas and drainage systems.
