CHS team angling for success

The Celebration High School Fishing team is entering its third year of district competition, looking to improve on their second place finish for the last two years.   The CHS Storm Anglers have experienced significant turnover from the last two years, losing half the team to graduation.

They have bounced back with the remaining veterans showing excellent leadership to a large group of incoming freshmen and new anglers.  The first fishing tournament of the season took place on January 25 and led by Freshmen Alex Kim, Junior Patrick Warner and Senior Jace Wilken the Storm successfully reeled in a victory.  The team out fished Gateway High School, Tohopekaliga High School, and perennial champs St Cloud.

The team will host a tournament on Saturday, March 28 around Lake Rianhard, here in Celebration. If you see the team, be sure to wish them the best.
