The Great Lawn at Lakeside Park will see the return of live music in March and April, albeit in a socially distant setting.
On Wednesday, March 17, from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m., celebrate St. Patrick’s Day and the arrival of spring with the return of the popular Dueling Pianos, sponsored by Island Village at Celebration.
This fun and entertaining duo of talented performers take audience requests, belting out many of your favorites, both old and new, not to mention audience participation with sing-a-long favorites.
On Saturday, April 10, it’s a return to that a time of stadium rock and power ballads with 80’s Night on the Great Lawn featuring SCARAB…The Journey Experience.
SCARAB has become the biggest touring tribute to Journey in the nation. The closest re-creation you will see to the super group of the 70’s and 80’s. Featuring a dynamic stage show with live four part harmonies, this international touring act performs with all the sights and sounds that made Journey famous. Showtime is 6:30 p.m.
Tables of four will be set up throughout the Great Lawn area in a socially distanced setting for residents to enjoy both shows. Residents are also invited to bring along their own chairs or blankets to enjoy the shows, although we do ask that you be cognizant of socially distancing when choosing a place to sit. Face coverings will be required any time you leave your seat, including entering/exiting the seating area or visiting the concessions area or restrooms.
Food and beverage options will be available for purchase through our friends at Meliá Orlando Celebration.
