Foundation Concert Series opens with pair of shows in January - Celebration, Florida

The 19th season of The Celebration Foundation Concert Series begins on Saturday, January 22 with the return of our founding partner, The Orlando Philharmonic. This year, The Orlando Philharmonic will feature Beethoven’s 4th Symphony. The 4th contrasts sharply with Beethoven’s fiery and better-known 3rd and 5th symphonies as it is thoroughly sunny and cheerful. Composers that followed Beethoven such as Berlioz and Mendelsohn loved the 4th symphony.

One week later, on January 29, we are excited to bring Ranky Tanky, a Grammy award winning Charleston based quintet that performs timeless music from the Gullah culture of the Southeastern Sea Islands to Celebration. Their first album, Ranky Tanky, rose to #1 on the Billboard Jazz charts, and their second album, Good Times, won the 2019 Grammy for best roots album. Their music is a mix of jazz, soul and gospel. You will be clapping and having a “good time.”

Season tickets and tickets to individual concerts are now available on-line at, or by calling The Celebration Foundation at 407-566-1234. You can also buy them at The Foundation office at 610 Sycamore Street, suite 110. Season tickets to all 5 concerts are $130, which is a 20% discount to the individual ticket price and includes preferred seating. We also offer a special $10 price to any of our concerts for students.

All concerts are at Community Presbyterian Church in Celebration and begin at 7 p.m. Please come out and enjoy the music and support the arts in Celebration.

PLEASE NOTE: the January concerts will be held at Lakeside Park and reflect new start times
