CROA is offering residents the opportunity to laugh, slide and dance into the holiday season, with seasonal events to enhance the community’s holiday magic.
Join us on Friday, December 3 from 5-9 p.m., as we transform Lakeside Park into a ‘snowy’ and ‘icy’ treat for both young and old. Get ready for the sensation of sliding down a mountain of snow, thanks to a portable slide – complete with snow! Grab an inner tube and prepare for the ‘coolest’ ride around.
Perhaps skating is your thing. We’ve got you covered!
Slip on the blades and glide across our very own ‘ice’ rink in the heart of the park. Whether you’re an expert, a novice or somewhere in between, this is your chance to show your stuff….and best of all, no freezing temperatures. This is the closest we will get to a frozen pond in Celebration (residents from New England and the upper Midwest know what we mean).
Does the holidays have you bouncing with excitement? How about expending some of that energy in a 30-foot tall snowman bounce house. For those who have been really good this past year and even for those who have not, don’t forget, Santa will be on hand as well to hear your Christmas wish list. Of course, no holiday season is complete without a classic movie. Beginning at 7 p.m. on the Great Lawn, take a break from sliding and gliding and enjoy ELF on the big screen.
Of course, no holiday movie experience would be complete without a complimentary hot chocolate bar, as well as other snacks (available for purchase).
On December 10, take in the final Food Truck Friday of the year from 5-9 p.m. at Lakeside Park. We are also thrilled to welcome the Celebration High School Jazz Band for their annual holiday performance. Be sure to stop by and get into the spirit of the season with these talented performers.
Then on Sunday, December 19, the Celebration Community Field Complex (CCFC) is the place to be as we welcome The Legendary Count Basie Orchestra as the headliner for the annual CROA Holiday Concert. While reserved VIP tables are sold out for the 7 p.m. performance, residents are invited to bring along their own seating options to enjoy this memorable performance.
