We’ll be working in your area soon. Our goal at Duke Energy is to provide safe, reliable and increasingly clean energy. To help keep that commitment, we will be performing maintenance and making upgrades at the Celebration Substation located at 1400 Celebration Blvd. We’re writing to let you know what you can expect as a neighbor to the project area.

This work will include replacing the existing chain link perimeter fence with more secure decorative fencing to help prevent intruders and animals from entering the site. We will also be removing vegetation around the substation site on Duke Energy property. You may begin seeing activity at the site in mid-April. We anticipate this work to be finished by mid-summer. No power interruptions are expected during this project.
