Residents are invited to get into the patriotic spirit, have a little fun, enjoy a ‘backyard’ cookout and kick back (or rock out) to some great classic rock!

Saturday June 3 kicks off with the return of the Independence Day parade. Residents and visitors are invited to line the parade route and show off their patriotic pride to celebrate our nation’s 245th birthday.

The annual march sponsored by the Celebration Residential Owners Association (CROA), kicks off at 9 a.m. from 851 Celebration Avenue and traverses up Celebration Avenue to Market Street, before ending at Lakeside Park. The enthusiastic spectators that line the route help enhance the event in the Rockwellesque setting.

What’s better than watching a parade? Participating in one! Applications are now available to march in the 2021 edition, call or email us today to sign up (407-566-1200,

Beginning at 4 p.m. on the third, residents are invited to play, eat and rock at Lakeside Park.

Join our ‘fun team’ from 4 – 6 p.m. at the Lakeside pool for some great games and activities.

What’s a summer holiday without a backyard cookout? The Great Lawn becomes the “backyard” as we grill up some dogs and burgers, complete with picnic accompaniments from 6 – 8:30 p.m. or while supplies last.

Then at 7:30 p.m., we rock into the night with SCARAB – The Journey Experience, LIVE in concert on the Great Lawn.

All events at Lakeside Park are for residents only and a valid CROA ID is required. There is no charge for any portion of the day and drinks and libations will be available for sale beginning at 4 p.m. at the ‘Firecracker Outpost’ on the Great Lawn.
