The 2021 CROA elections are set, as seven (7) candidates will vie for four seats on the seven-member board. Celebration residential property owners will have the opportunity to submit their votes either online or via a paper ballot beginning February 1.
Please note, candidate Christy Miller has withdrawn from consideration. Any vote cast for Ms. Miller will not be counted.
Ballots and online voting credentials were mailed to the official property address on file at Town Hall prior to February 1.
Voting will end on Tuesday, March 2 at 5:30 p.m., at which time, ballot counting will commence.
Each of the four positions will be filled on an At-Large basis. In other words, all candidates participating in this election will be eligible for one of the four open seats. The top four (4) candidates with the most votes will fill the open positions, with the top three vote getters earning a three-year term and the fourth highest total earning a one-year term. (The one-year term is fulfilling the remainder of a previous director's term).
Out of an abundance of caution for those residents who tabulate the paper ballots and being cognizant of the well documented issues within the U.S. Postal Service the past few months, it is highly encouraged that you cast your ballot electronically.
All candidates for the CROA Board elections were invited to submit a background summary and narrative, had the opportunity to respond to a questionnaire about relevant topics that currently face the CROA Board and were also invited to submit a candidate video.
