The Rotary Club of Celebration made a $5,000 initial seed fund donation and offered a matching fund of $10,000 which the Celebration Foundation stepped up and matched immediately to total a $25,000 commitment!
Seeing hunger as an unmet essential need to be addressed quickly, these two Celebration Organizations of Volunteers have an extraordinary determination to make a difference! We leveraged our skills and resources to meet an urgent need at our ‘doorstep’ to bring Hope and Relief to those in our midst who are hungry.
The following organizations were given ALDI emergency food gift cards to distribute this summer to families, children and the elderly:
- The Community Hope Center
- Embrace Celebration
- Osceola Council on Aging
- Salvation Army
- Presentation Brothers
- Boys and Girls Club in Osceola County
We hope that the collaboration between The Rotary Club of Celebration and The Celebration Foundation will encourage others in our communities to seek ways to alleviate hunger issues for our Osceola County neighbors.
