Celebration’s Independence Day Spectacular

Jun 17, 2024

It’s time to start thinking about Independence Day and all the ways you can enjoy America’s 248th birthday.

On July 4, Kick off your day of festivities by attending Celebration’s annual Independence Day parade sponsored by the Celebration Residential Owners Association (CROA).  Supporting sponsors include Celebration Soccer Club and Good Life Companies. The parade kicks off at 9 a.m. from 851 Celebration Avenue and traverses up Celebration Avenue to Market Street, before ending at Lakeside Park. There isn’t a bad view along the route but be sure to arrive early to secure your seat!

Beginning at 5 p.m. the fun shifts to Town Center with the Independence Day Spectacular. Enjoy live music, which includes performances by the DJ City Beat at 5 p.m. and Audio Exchange at 6:30 p.m.  Performing top hits from all decades and genres, Audio Exchange will have something for everyone, keeping you entertained and on your feet! Then at approximately 9:20 p.m., we will paint the night sky with a stunning fireworks display. Be sure to come hungry to enjoy food and beverage options from many of your favorite Celebration Town Center restaurants.  Please note that personal coolers will not be allowed in the Town Center area.

The event at Town Center, featuring a fireworks spectacular, is presented by the Celebration Residential Owners Association (CROA), Celebration Community Services (CCS), and Celebration Town Center. Gold sponsors for this event include Everglades Equipment Group, Good Life Companies, and AdventHealth. Our silver sponsor is Larsen Slaten PLLC, while Apricot Lane Boutique and Joe’s Crab Shack are supporting sponsors. Celebration Sanitation and Campus Customs are contributing sponsors. We extend our gratitude to all our sponsors for their support of this year’s event!

Celebration residents will have a front row seat to enjoy the fireworks from the closest vantage point in town. The Lakeside Park VIP viewing area is accessible only to Celebration residents and their guests. You must have a CROA ID to enter this area. Be sure to stop by and say hello to DJ Renee Adams who is bringing exclusive entertainment to the residents on the Great Lawn beginning at 5 p.m. Joe’s Crab Shack will be handing out free samples (while supplies last).  Other snacks, beverages, and adult libations will be available for purchase.  If residents have guests joining them for the evening fun, encourage them to utilize the free park and ride service. Guests can park at 215 Celebration Place and take a bus to the K-8 school and back following the event. This will help alleviate traffic in the community. The service runs from 4 – 11 p.m. Paid parking will also be available from 4:30-11:30 p.m. at the K-8 gym parking lot ($10 donation) and at the staff lot across from the Stetson building ($20 donation).  Proceeds from the parking fundraiser will benefit the Middle School Chorus.

No matter how you choose to enjoy your day, safety should be at the top of your list. Please remember to celebrate responsibly! For more information about the Independence Day Spectacular in America’s Hometown, please contact Town Hall at 407-566-1200 or townhall@ciramail.com
