Effective July 1, 2024, Florida Legislative Update to, Section 720.3075 (3)(b) was amended to declare that all HOA’s governing documents, including the recorded Declaration of Covenant, may not prohibit residents from parking their personal vehicle including pick up trucks on their driveway or any other area where they have the right to park as “governed by state, county, and municipal regulations”. This includes Commercial and Work vehicles, found in Section 320.01(25).
