The Osceola School District Has Second Lowest Administrative Expenditures in the State
The Florida Department of Education recently ranked the Osceola School District as having the second-lowest administrative expenditures among all school districts in the state. This highlights the Osceola County School Board’s strong commitment to prioritizing student learning by directing funds where they matter most—into the classroom. The ranking was based on the district’s 2023-2024 financial report in compliance with the Florida Educational Funding Accountability Act and speaks to the district’s fiscal responsibility.
“By maintaining lean administrative operations, the Osceola School District continues to ensure that resources are focused on supporting teachers, enhancing instruction, and improving outcomes for every student,” said Osceola School Board Chairman Heather Kahoun. “While the Osceola School District continues to advocate for better funding for our schools, we are committed to using every dollar in the best possible manner for the students.”
