Community Update – July 26

July 26, 2021

Dear Celebration Residents:

As you know, the Board of Directors of the Celebration Residential Owners Association (CROA) has undertaken an extensive, thorough process to identify the next management company to serve as our Town Hall staff; this process has been done in conjunction with the Celebration Nonresidential Owners Association (CNOA) and the Celebration Joint Committee (CJC). As you likely know, and highlighted in earlier correspondence, the management company handles the day-to-day business of the Associations, and leads our Town Hall support team.

We are now near the culmination of this nearly year-long Request for Proposal (RFP) process. We brought in two companies – GrandManors and Sentry Management – for interviews late last week. Information on our progress continues to be shared in the resident password-protected segment of the website, in the “Management Company RFP Briefings” section found under the “Community Governance” tab.

As we finalize this process, we encourage your involvement in three ways:

1. View the two videos provided by our finalists. We asked each company to prepare a short video to introduce their company to the community. These are located on the Celebration website as noted above.
2. Review the Frequently Asked Questions; these are resident questions, located under the same tab. We invite you to submit any questions you may have; please send it to the CROA Board at croaboard@townhall.celebration.fl.us.
3. Participate in the discussion on the process during the open, virtual meeting on Wednesday, August 4 at 6 p.m.; this is your opportunity to voice any thoughts, opinions or questions. The teleconference link is posted in the “Meeting Information” tab for residents.

The CROA Board will be making its final selection on Monday, August 9 at a special Board meeting. This decision is scheduled for review and finalization by the CNOA Board and the CJC on Thursday, August 12.

We will keep you updated, once the final decision is made. We will also keep you updated about the transition process and what you can expect as we move to a new management company. With the assistance of our current management company (CCMC) and the new management company, it is our hope that the transition will be as seamless as possible.

We thank you for your engagement and support throughout this process.

Sincerely,
The CROA Board of Directors
