Yard Waste Disposal Changes Delayed to November 1

Sep 30, 2019

As previously announced by Celebration Sanitation Services (CSS) on August 26, changes are being implemented in the method in which yard waste in collected in the community. The change was scheduled to be implemented on October 1, however, CSS is delaying the changeover until November 1. Below is the original announcement explaining the process. For additional information please contact CSS at 321-939-1805.

Starting October 1, 2019, Celebration Sanitation Services (CSS) will no longer accept yard waste that is disposed of in any type of plastic bags. You can use up to four (4) 32-gallon containers that are clearly marked “Yard Waste” stenciled on both sides.

Yard waste can also be disposed of in paper yard waste bags, that can be purchased from Celebration Hardware, Home Depot, etc., or you can use your regular totter as well, just leave the lid open on Wednesdays.  Residents are asked to start this practice ASAP so that they can get in the routine of the updated guidelines.

After October 1, yard waste must be disposed of by following the guidelines mentioned above or it will not get collected. Your cooperation is appreciated.
