Programs for Adults:

Saturday, March 2 at 2pm: He Named Me Malala
Learn more about Malala Yousafzai with a screening of the documentary He Named Me Malala in honor of Women’s History Month. Rated PG-13. Closed captions available upon request.

Saturday, March 16 at 1pm – NovelTea Book Club: Lady Tan’s Circle of Women
Enjoy a lively book discussion while enjoying teas based on each month’s book selection. This month: Lady Tan’s Circle of Women by Lisa See.

Saturday, March 23 at 2pm – Step Into the Past
Discover the history of remarkable women living in Osceola County. Presented by Osceola History.

Programs for Kids and Families:

Every Tuesday starting at 10am – Storytime!
Join us for twice the fun with two storytimes for your little ones, with special stories and songs for toddlers at 10am and babies at 11am.

Every Wednesday morning starting at 9:15am – R.I.S.E. Up Osceola
The School District of Osceola brings their READ Bus equipped with resources to engage parents of pre-school age children and toddlers with activities to develop their early literacy skills.

Every Wednesday at 5:30pm – Celebration Chess Club
Test your skills, learn new strategies, and meet fellow chess enthusiasts while playing the most popular game in the world!  All ages welcome. This program will be facilitated by Nick Perez of the Orlando Chess Association.

Research and Instruction for everyone!

In addition to these exciting programs, the Library is partnering with the Adult Literacy League to host E.S.O.L. (English as a Second Language) Conversation Hour every Friday at 10am. This is a great opportunity to become more familiar with the English language and meet new people.
