Dear Residents,
In consideration of the recent cold weather, landscaping-related violations will be temporarily paused through February 2026. During this period, only egregious non-compliance issues will be addressed. This pause is intended to allow residents time to focus on protecting and restoring their landscaping following freeze-related impacts.
Please note that if landscape replacements are required due to freeze damage and the replacements are like-for-like, meaning the same materials and similar sizes, an ARC application is not required, as this work is considered routine maintenance. Outside of these like-for-like replacements, ARC applications must be submitted and reviewed for approval prior to making any changes to existing landscaping.
Residential Community Standards Support
If you have questions about your residential landscaping, need guidance, or would like assistance confirming next steps, Town Hall and the Community Standards team are here to help and are happy to assist throughout the process. Community Landscaping
We understand that freezing temperatures have caused damage to plants throughout the community. For service areas and parks, assessments are underway, and selective trim backs are planned for late February, once the risk of additional freezes has decreased. In situations like this, patience is necessary to allow nature time to take its course and for plants with healthy, established root systems to recover. Please also be aware that nurseries across the southeastern United States, including Florida, have experienced significant freeze damage to inventory. As a result, some planned landscaping replacements throughout the community may experience fulfillment delays.
Sprinkler Systems and Pools
Sprinkler systems in service areas and parks have been turned back on and will operate on a modified schedule, running during daytime hours rather than at night while nighttime temperatures remain low. Lakeside pool heaters are operating, and the pool cover will remain in place through Friday of this week.
Thank you and stay warm,
Celebration Town Hall
